Ruth C. Duck (1947–2024) is an internationally renowned hymnwriter, with texts appearing in many denominational hymnals and supplements. Four collections of her hymn texts have been published; her final collection, The Poetry of Grace, was released by Hope Publishing in 2015. A scholar and professor of Christian worship, Ruth provided many resources for the church. A new recording, I Offer You My Life (A Tribute to Ruth Duck), features twelve unpublished hymn texts by Ruth Duck, set to music by Dan Damon, with vocals by Chicago-based musician Felicia Patton.

Ruth’s final hymn texts with new tunes by Dan Damon will be available from Hope Publishing Company in July, 2026 in Dan’s single-author collection Sing, Little Bird.
